My Fuller Family History
My grandmother Dorothy Fuller and her sisters Rosalind Fuller and Cynthia Fuller traveled from England to America on five separate tours singing folk songs, accompanied by Cynthia on the harp. Known as The Fuller Sisters, they sang at engagements all over the US in the early 1900s, singing to President Wilson at The White House on two very special occasions.
I know my love for this beautiful instrument has come about because of my Fuller family history. Cynthia gave me her very special harp when I was just fourteen years old and I’ll never forget the joy when I read her letter to me with its wonderful gift.
